Format:

1.       There are 20 different classes in the computational study (C1, C2, …, C20), each containing 5 instances, resulting in a total of 100 instances.

2.       For the case study, data corresponding to case Case1 is provided. The remaining settings (Case2, Case3, Case4, Case5) can be derived from Case1 based on the definitions outlined in the paper.

3.       Facility locations in the computational study are specified using Cartesian (x–y) coordinates, whereas the case study data utilize geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude). As a result, different distance calculation methods are employed for the computational and case study datasets.

4.       The time period data includes time zero (t=0) as the initial period.

5.       Transportation costs from collection facilities to biorefineries are approximately 10% lower than those from farms to collection facilities or directly to biorefineries, reflecting economies of scale.

6.       For each instance, we have the following data files:

·         CAPACITIES.txt: Contains the biofuel inventory capacities at biorefineries, biomass inventory capacities at collection facilities, and the production capacities of biorefineries.

·         DEMAND.txt: Contains biofuel demand at each blending facility for every time period

·         FIXED2.txt: Contains collection facility fixed costs for every time period

·         FIXED3.txt: Contains biorefinery fixed costs

·         GammaX.csv: Contains break-even prices for all farms

·         GammaY.csv: Contains the acreage of the land allocated to switchgrass corresponding to each break-even price

·         INDEX.txt: Contains the cardinality of all sets used in the model.

·         LOCATION1.txt: Location coordinates of farms

·         LOCATION2.txt: Location coordinates of collection facilities

·         LOCATION3.txt: Location coordinates of biorefineries

·         LOCATION4.txt: Location coordinates of blending facilities

·         PARAMETERS.txt: Yield, biofuel price, processing costs, holding and transportation costs for biofuel, holding cost for Switchgrass, conversion rates, switchgrass price levels

7.       For the case study, the following additional data files are provided to evaluate distances between facility pairs:

·         DISTANCE_IJ.csv: Distance between farms and collection facilities

·         DISTANCE_JK.csv: Distance between collection facilities and biorefineries

·         DISTANCE_IK.csv: Distance between farms and biorefineries

·         DISTANCE_KZ.csv: Distance between biorefineries and blending facilities
