Lisa Kelsey
Resident Advisor - Bose
House
Lisa loves playing outside, hanging
out with friends, and meeting new people. She has a Bachelors Degree
in Middle School Education from the University of North Texas. She
currently works as an English middle school teacher, attempting to
make reading and writing enjoyable for all students. She worked for
the University of North Texas housing system for 4 years as a
Resident Assistant and Student Assistant, and has so many great
memories from that time. Lisa’s favorites include, coffee, the color
turquoise, the movie, "Elf" and "Hot Tamales." This is her first
summer at Texas Governors School, and she is looking forward to her
time here. |

Chloe
Burns Resident Advisor - Bose
House
Chloe graduated from the
University of North Texas with a degree in Development and Family
Studies. She recently went back to school to get her teaching
certification so that she can be an elementary school teacher. She
worked at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science for two years
and this will be her third summer with TGS. She is really looking
forward to working with the students again. |

Torey de Rozario

I am a junior at the University of
Colorado at Boulder. I am studying Business and I plan to study
abroad next year in Southern France to work on my French minor. I
come from a really big family and I love being around a lot of
different people. I am really excited to spend time in Texas this
summer working with the TGS Program and all of the new
students!

Colby Dickson

House
Colby is a Senior at the University of
North Texas studying Kinesiology with a minor in Social Sciences. He
has worked at TGS the previous two summers along with being an
Resident Assistant in West Hall at UNT. He has displayed his
involvement on campus by being in the North Texas 40, Pi Kappa Alpha
Fraternity, and the Residence Life Advisory Council. He enjoys
playing all sports and being active outdoors. After graduating this
summer, Colby plans to teach and coach high school football to
further impact the youth of today. |

Lance Knickerbocker
Resident Advisor - Bose
House
Lance Knickerbocker is a student of
History at the University of North Texas which he has attended since
graduating from North Garland High School in 2006. Originally from
Texas, Lance has lived within a family of ten in four different
states throughout the country. His focus at UNT is Twentieth Century
American History and Jewish Studies. Lance spends his free time
reading, writing, and listening to music. His favorite writers are
Ernest Hemingway, Philip Roth, and Walt Whitman. He is currently
working on building his LP collection which is now comprised mainly
of Modest Mouse, Destroyer, and Swan Lake. He hopes to be a valuable
resource to TGS students and is very excited to be working with
future undergraduates. |

Stephani de Rozario

I am a Psychology Major at Texas Woman's University
and I plan to attend Dallas Theological Seminary in the fall to
pursue my Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling. I am the oldest of
five children and I enjoy working with students. I am currently
working at Fellowship Church with the FC Kids Ministry.

My name is Whitley Poyser. I have been
an RA for a year so far, and worked as an RA last year for TGS. I'm
a Junior at UNT and a business major. |

Leland Miller
Resident Advisor - Curie
House
Leland Miller is a senior Theatre major at the
University of North Texas. He likes TV, reading, and
cooking. Leland worked as an RA last year at TGS and is ready
to make this year the best one yet! He would like to end with
a list of his hobbies, which include, but are not limited to:
listening to music, running, midnight movies, rockin' the casbah,
and bein' super-awesome.

Andrew Turner

House
Andrew will graduate from UNT in May
2009 with a BA in Radio Television and Film. He is the president of
the on campus Christian ministry The Navigators. Andrew is also a
member of the North Texas Track and Field team where he competes in
the Decathlon. In his free time he enjoys building stuff, traveling
and being outdoors, learning about world cultures, and growing more
and more in his relationship with Christ. |

My name is Wes Hutto and I am a junior political
science major at the University of North Texas. This will be
my second summer working TGS and I am crazy excited about it.
I enjoy reading; right now I'm working on American Pastoral by
Philip Roth: great book. I like playing disc gold and beach
volleyball in the summer, and usually in the winter I'll be busy
with school and drinking a lot of coffee and eating a lot of soup to
keep warm. Once again, VERY excited about TGS this year!

Amanda Montgomery

Amanda is a Senior Fashion
Merchandising Major with a minor in Business at the University of
North Texas. She was an RA for TGS in the summer of 2008
and is very excited about the upcoming summer. She
currently works as the Site Coordinator for Grapevine-Colleyville
I.S.D's Extended Day Program and also as a Sales Associate at
Charlotte Russe. Her hobbies include shopping, working fashion
shows, eating out, and going home to be with family. She looks
forward to a great summer with the new batch of TGS
students!! |

Joanna Cawthorn

Joanna is excited to join the TGS
student life team to begin working with high school students again.
Jo grew up in Denton and was the captain of the drill/dance
team. She was a spiritual leaders in her youth group.
She currently participates in many musicals with the Denton
Community Theatre where she's been appointed either the
dance captain or assistant to the choreographer. Jo has
been a pre-kindergarten teacher at Springbok Academy where she
was part of the senior staff. |

I am a cadet officer at New Mexico
Military Institute. I am studying business however I am there as a
scholarship athlete playing golf. I currently a troop commander in
charge of 70 cadets at all times. I was a member of the Big Brothers
Big Sisters of North Texas my senior year of High School. I plan on
continuing my golf career after attending my current school for 2
years at another college. I come from a large family and I work well
with every age from students to adults and I am looking forward to
the TGS experience! |

Rehabilitation Studies. She has been a Resident Assistant at the

My name is Ryan Strittmatter I am a
Junior RTVF major at TCU and a former RTVF/psychology pre-med major
at UNT. I am involved in Student Filmakers Association at TCU,
I am an Alumnus member of Theta Chi Fraternity Delta Phi chapter
from UNT, I am also an Eagle Scout. |
