Hen Egg White Lysozyme

This is the structure of lysozyme, which contains both alpha-helix and beta-sheet. It was the first enzyme to be solved by x-ray crystallography. This work was done in the lab of David Phillips, who later proposed an accurate reaction mechanism for the enzyme.
