1. Identify a research article related to the topics we have covered through Feb 4: It might concern structural properties of a particular amino acid, insights into a particular type of secondary structure or non-covalent interaction, protein folding, or structural motifs (not folds). You might try searching PubMed using keywords, if you have an idea. Or, you might try looking at the suggestions made by PubMed when you go to the linked articles found in the lectures (highly recommended). Please get my approval of the article before proceeding.
2. Summarize the article in one page. The report should be submitted through Canvas by 1:00 PM Thursday, February 15.
3. Make a 3-5 minute presentation in class, summarizing the main points. Please submit a presentation file (e.g. powerpoint) by Wednesday 1:00 PM February 14, on Canvas. It should have 1 title page with a complete reference to the article, and 2-3additional slides.
