Alpha + Beta fold:
Human RNAse 1

This is an example of a fold containing both elements of alpha helix and beta sheet. At first when the protein is colored by structure one can see that the alpha helices are on one side and the beta-strands are on the other side. Two helices pack against 2 of the beta-strands, and one helix packs against a sheet of 4 beta-strands. When the coloring changes one can see that the helices and beta-strands do not alternate in sequence.
