Beta-Alpha-Beta motif

This motif is found in many proteins, typically as either a repeating unit that forms a ring (as in this case), or in less-regular structures. The two beta-strands are parallel, and are connected by the alpha-helix. The helix packs tightly against the beta-strands as can be seen in the space-filling view.
