Domain-swapping in a trimeric protein

The C-terminus of the protein contains a 4-stranded anti-parallel β-sheet. The last strand is moved to another subunit, resulting in a three-way swap.

This protein can form a variety of dimeric and trimeric domain swapped oligomers. Their functional significance is unknown.
