Except in unusual circumstances I guarantee that I will be in my office
during the designated office hours. You are always welcome to stop by

Textbook: A First Course in Wavelets with Fourier Analysis, by A. Boggess and F.J. Narcowich.
Prerequisites: Math 3353, Linear Algebra and Math 3315, Scientific Computing. Math 3337, Advanced Math, is not required but would be helpful.
Grading Policy: Homework = 30 %
Two in-class exams = 220 %=40%
Three-hour final exam = 30 %
Homework will be assigned in class on a weekly basis. Late
homework will not be accepted. Completing and understanding the homework
assignments are critical for success in the class. The lowest homework
grade will be dropped.
Exam Dates listed below are tentative and will be
confirmed in class. Under certain circumstances and at the discretion of
the instructor students may reschedule an exam. Exam 1 Thursday,
September 25. Exam 2 Thursday, October 30.
Final Exam Friday, December 12, 11:30-2:30.
