Special Projects - US First Robotic Competition

The competition promoted the engineering career to the graduating high school students. The Mechanical Engineering Department at Southern Methodist University was associated with St. Mark high to help them design and build a radio operated robot for the specified task. The whole project was subject to time, materials, and supplier constraints. As part of a two graduate student team at SMU I participated in the design and construction of the SMU-St. Mark's robots in 1994 and 1995.
