Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Scholarship Program (CSA) - Applications for Academic Year 2025-26

The scholarship application cycle is now open for the 2025-26 academic year for eligible SMU students. Applications are due February 1, 2025 - please review the following information and application instructions.

Application Process

1. Please see the DoD CSA web page
1. The application for SMU students will be the "RECRUITMENT DoD CYBER SERVICE ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIPS (Non-DoD Employees)". To apply, you will need to create a DoD CSA account ("LOG INTO YOUR DOD CSA ACCOUNT TODAY")
2. Please review the videos and information on the web site, including the DoD CSA Scholar Handbook.
2. If you decide to apply to this program, please contact Dr. Manikas to schedule a meeting to discuss the program requirements before submitting your application. This meeting can be by Zoom or in-person.

As mentioned in the application instructions, the complete application must be submitted through the online tool by February 1, 2025 .
