In support of the Institute mission, an emphasis is placed upon closing the “skills gap” that exists today \u2013 there are simply not enough trained professionals in the field.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2014 by Darwin Deason<\/a>, the mission of the Institute is to advance the science, policy, and application of cyber security through basic problem-driven, interdisciplinary research. The Institute is committed to serving as a world-class research center that innovates, develops, and delivers solutions to the nation’s most challenging cyber security problems.
