Issues about Course Work, Grading, etc.
-
Your own work:
Your solutions to homework/project assignments must be
your own individual work,
although general discussions about the problems and approaches
are allowed.
It is an honor code violation to present as your own material
that is not yours.
-
Exams:
See exam information.
-
Due dates:
All the due dates for homework/project/etc. are for in-class and TAGER students.
We have a standard 11-day grace period for
video students to turn in their work
(post-mark by the dates 11 days from corresponding due dates for
in-class students).
-
Late homework/project assignments:
If you need to make alternative arrangements for turning-in
material or taking exams because of tape delays/health reasons/etc.,
you must contact the instructor ahead of time
and get an extension, unless it is an emergency.
In the latter case,
a doctors' note or a similar documentation must be provided.
(Otherwise you'll receive 0 for the specific item.)
-
SMU policy for Disability Accommodations:
If you need academic accommodations for a disability,
you must first contact Ms. Rebecca Marin, Coordinator, Services
for Students with Disabilities (214-768-4563), to verify the disability and
to establish eligibility for accommodations. Then you should schedule an
appointment with the professor to make appropriate arrangements.
