Part 1: Discussion Questions

Outline the UI evaluation activities that can be performed
before its implementation
and modify the UID process in Fig. 4.1 of the DTUI book to
include these activities and related feedback.

Based on your previous knowledge about software development processes
or based on your independent research,
discuss the similarities and differences between agile development
process and AID (agile interaction design) process.
In addition, discuss the possible roles that the users play in these
processed.

Compare the relative advantages and disadvantages between expert review
and usability testing.
Part 2: UI Design and Evaluation
Select an existing piece of software, an application, a smart device,
or anything with computer/software embedded in it,
Now perform the following:

Design a usability testing strategy to measure the usability of this system

Determine what data to collect and calculate the system usability
based on these data.
You can make up some sample data to illustrate your approach.

If a new and improved version is to be built.
How would you demonstrate the improved usability?

What would you do differently if you are performing the above
tasks based on expert review instead of usability testing.
