Subject: Question about my presentation

Prof. Tian,

I just looked at the tape where my presentation was shown. A
student had asked a question refering to the time associated with
pulling additional resources in to increase the testing effort. I don't
think that I made myself clear in the presentation. The additional
resources (testers) already have testing experience so the learning
curve is minimal (little or no time to get going on testing), most of
our white box testing is done with the developers of that release, not
all of the developers are involved in white box testing. Pulling
additional resources would mean that the non-testing developers of that
release would be pulled in first and then other people that are freeing
up from other releases would be pulled in to help out if needed. In
most cases the current release's developers are sufficient to increase
our testing effort. I hope that this helps to explain the question that
the student had with my presentation. Let me know if there is anything
that needs additional explaination.

Tony
