Solution structure of ubiquitin-like domain of human parkin

A single mutation that causes an Arg to Pro switch at position 42 has been identified in a number of autosomal recessive juvenile Parkinson's disease patients, however the function of this domain is not yet clear.
Parkin ubiquitin-like domain R33Q mutant.
NMR structure of the parkin Ubl domain in complex with the endophilin-A1 SH3 domain.
