B-catenin interactions with Tcf	B-catenin is also a key signaling molecule in the canonical Wnt pathway that plays diverse and critical roles in embryonic development and in adults. It was recently discovered that is also a critical regulator of stem cells. Elevated levels of b-catenin can lead to its constitutional activation by the b-catenin-Tcf complex.

Tcf4 can specifically recognize beta-catenin using alternative conformations.
