Notice to MS/SE Students

This course has been approved by CSE and SEAS as a regular advanced elective in the MS/SE program as "CSE 8317: Software Reliability and Safety," and is pending final approval by the university curriculum committee before it appears as CSE 8317 in the catalogue. Meanwhile, it is offered as a special topics course "CSE 8391: Special Topics -- Software Reliability and Safety" in Spring, 1999.

For students in SMU's MS/SE program, this course can be counted either as an "advanced major elective" or as a "general elective" course.

The class notes should become available by the first class on 1/14/99.
Slides in PostScript format are available for module 5 and module 6.
