MacAddict is
Freakin' Awesome!

Apple.com
YES, I am a MacAddict! And proud of it. I now have an
incredibly cool laptop - an iBook/14.1 inch screen with 800Mhz
processor, 640MB Ram and a CDRW/DVD. It's pure, unadulterated sweetness!

Unsanity.com
These folks have created some of the absolute BEST little
utilities (called Haxies) for customizing a Mac - including one program
called
Xounds that makes excellent use of the SoundSets I've created,
available from the website below. There are not enough positive, glowing
adjectives to describe these folks - they do a great job!
-
Sound Set
Central
This cool website houses hundreds and hundreds of
Mac-related soundsets - for use with MS Entourage, MS Outlook Express
and - my personal favorite - the Mac OS itself. Okay, okay, I'm a little
biased - I submitted a soundset just last year based on the
ultra-awesome game Myst, and it has become a rather popular download.
Check it
out!

MacAddict.com
The is a good site for all things Mac, after
Apple.com, of
course... these folks put out a pretty good monthly rag with a CD-rom
chock full o' nuts, um... programs.
-
MacUpdate.com
This is where I keep track of any software updates that
are released for my Mac. It's very easy to use - and you can sign up and
keep track of what software you've downloaded and follow the latest
releases. Very handy!
-
ResExcellence.com
Sensing a pattern here? This is a great site for those
who want to really tweak things on their Mac - this site has impressive
and cool-looking modifications - some that are easy or merely cosmetic,
and even some that are potential warranty voiders. Fun, fun!

Dallas
Symphony Chorus
Since November of 1995, I have been a Tenor in the
DSC. I went to Israel in 1996 to sing with Zubin Mehta & the Israel
Philharmonic and have sung in several concerts at Carnegie Hall, both
with the Dallas Symphony and Opera Orchestra of New York. I am also the
webmaster for this site.
-
University of Tulsa
I know, I know - it's a rival considering that I work at
SMU - but, hey, it's my Alma Mater and I am a proud alum, especially
when it comes to basketball...
-
WolfePack.org
One of my favorite authors is Rex Stout, who wrote 72
amazing mysteries featuring a sedentary detective, Nero Wolfe, and
written from the viewpoint of expanded "case notes" by Wolfe's assistant
Archie Goodwin. This is the definitive website for all things Wolfe.
-
As the Apple Turns
This has got to be one of the funniest Mac-related parody/rumor/"news"
sites ever. The insightful (inciteful?) comments and observations about
all-things-Mac are truly memorable, in an endearingly screwed-up way.
-
Broadband Reports
Excellent forum and news site for learning how other folks deal with
their internet connections, among many other topics, including a
Mac-related forum. Lots of good comments, peppered with lots of trolls,
too.
-
MacFixIt
Comprehensive site for, well, just what they say they do - provide
troubleshooting solutions for the Macintosh.
-
MacDailyNews
How much fun can one web site have with pointing out the good, bad,
ugly, and just downright scary when it comes to reporting Mac-related
news. The comments from regulars (and the trolls, too) are quite
entertaining.
-
Daring Fireball
This guy has his s*** together. He pulls no punches,
knows how to write (which is unusual in many cases) and tells it like it
is not just in the Mac world, but in things technological and sometimes
esoteric. You want a solid, well-thought out opinion or argument for or
against a particular topic? This is the site to visit.
