Degree Days

Heavy users of electrical power, such as data centers, can estimate the power needs for a month based on the number of heating degree-days (HDD) or cooling degree-days (CDD). The following are three years of monthly data sets for San Diego, California, 5/1/2012- 4/1/2015, assuming a base temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. (Source)
