Final Exam:


Final Exam August 1

The final exam will take 55 minutes and it will cover all materials from the entire course. More time will be available for students requiring special accommodations (issued by proper officials on campus)*

The maximum number of points is 100

The final is a free-response exam with no multiple-choice questions

A periodic table will be provided by the instructor

Only a simple scientific calculator is allowed

No books, no notes, no electronic devices (such as smart phones, iPods, iPads, laptops, etc.)

A missed final exam will be assigned to a score zero, unless you provide a doctor's note (including a phone number) to verify your illness. The make-up exam may be either written or oral and will likely be given at the end of the semester at the discretion of the instructor


* Disability Accommodations: Students needing academic accommodations for a disability must first contact Ms. Rebecca Marin, Coordinator, Services for Students with Disabilities (214-768-4557) to verify the disability and establish eligibility for accommodations. They should then schedule an appointment with the professor to make appropriate arrangements (See University Policy No. 2.4.)
