Q: If I was sick and missed a quiz (test). Can I take a make-up quiz (test)?
A: No, there are no make-up quizzes (tests). A score of zero is assigned for a missed quiz (test).
Q: If I was sick and missed the final exam. Can I take a make-up exam?
A: You do need a doctor's note (including a phone number) to verify your illness, since other-wise you will receive a zero on the exam. The make-up exam may be either written or oral and will likely be given at the end of the semester at the discretion of the instructor.
Q: I did not have enough time to work all the problems on a quiz (test, final). Can I have extra more time for the quiz (test, final)?
A: No, unless you have an official letter (issued by proper officials on campus)* requesting special accommodations. The quiz is 15 minutes (test, final is 55 minutes) for all students.
Q: How can I find my grades ?
A: Your course grade will be available on Access.SMU about two days after the final exam.
Q: I made a B in this class. Can I do extra work for extra credit to bring my grade up?
A: No, the final grade is based only on quizzes, tests and the final exam.
